These are my current tank capacitors which are a MMC array. They are excellent. Made by CDE, they are rated at .15 uf @ 2kVDC. I have 15 in series per panel giving me a rating of approx. .01 uf @ 30kVDC per panel. Prior to getting these good caps I used two Saltwater Bucket caps.
This was one of my saltwater capacitors. I used 12 12oz Miller Genuine Draft bottles per bucket. I had six bottles per string for a capacitance of ~.005uf. I had two terminals, one for each string, that could be tied together to give me a value of .01uf. The common terminal I located on the opposite side of the bucket. All of the hardware was 1/4-20 brass.
